My special interest in psychoacoustics

Updated: Jan 18

Myself and fellow audio engineer Marcel van Limbeek presented on psychoacoustics on Thursday 27th October 2016 at 7:30 in the Winchester Discovery Centre. There was a very good audience of around 100. We are grateful to the Winchester Skeptics  for hosting this event.

Over 1 hour, we presented a dynamic series of audio (and visual) constructions that illustrated such phenomena as Masking, Pitch Detection, Directivity of Sound, Consonance and Dissonance among others. There were many questions thereafter, and the presentation was evidently well received. Thanks to all who  came along!

This presentation is suitable for audio engineering colleges / studios, schools / universities and other relevant groups, so do contact if you are interested to host such an event.
